Seasoned Black Beans

Jana here with a side dish that is a great addition to any Mexican themed meal!  We were getting tired of eating refried beans as a side when we had tacos or burritos, so I found a recipe on All Recipes for black beans.  Our whole family really enjoyed these!  Don't let the simple look of the dish fool you...they are very flavorful! 

Seasoned Black Beans

1 can black beans (16 ounces)
1/2 teaspoon onion powder of minced onions
1 clove minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon dried cilantro
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1. In a medium saucepan, combine ingredients.  Bring to a boil.  Reduce heat to a simmer, and let it simmer for at least 5 minutes.
