Roasted Peaches






Jana here with a really healthy idea for the peaches that are so abundant in the south right now!  Recently, we were going to a friend's house for dinner, and I wanted to bring a dessert that wasn't super unhealthy. We had some local peaches that were ripe, so I added some seasonings, roasted them, and they were delicious! 

Roasted Peaches

6 ripe peaches (or however many you would like to make!)
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons brown sugar
cinnamon

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Slice the peaches in half, and remove the pit.

2. Place the peaches, skin side down, in a baking dish.

3. Place a small square of butter in the center of each peach. Top with a sprinkling of brown sugar, and lightly sprinkle cinnamon over the top of the peach.

4. Bake for 30 minutes.
