Healthy Breakfast Cookies

Jana here with another Pinterest recipe find!  I'm not sure about the original source, because it didn't have a link that could be followed. (again)  I changed a few things, and really enjoyed these!  They are called breakfast cookies, but mine turned out a little bit more 'bread-like'.  They don't have any flour, sugar, or oil!  They are very healthy, and everyone in my family loved them!

Breakfast Cookies

2-3 ripe bananas, mashed
1.5 cups quick oats
1 cup of unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup raisins or craisins
cinnamon to taste

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Mix all ingredients together well.

3. Put mixture in circle shapes on a greased cookie sheet.  (I made 12, so they were medium sized)

4. Bake for 30-35 minutes.

Enjoy!

  2. Thanks for sharing! I just made this (via Pinterest). My 3 kids (3, 5, and 7) made these with me, and they devoured them! They had 3 each as a snack. I baked them for 32 minutes, and probably will try 35 next time- the insides were still a little soft. But they were healthy & the kids loved them, so 2 thumbs up from me! :)
