Vanilla Yogurt Pancakes

Jana here with a pancake recipe that is really delicious!  We like to make pancakes for a treat at our house, and I like to experiment with different recipes.  I decided to search for a yogurt pancake, and I found a recipe at Food.com that did not did not disappoint!  The pancakes rose very well, and were fluffy like I had hoped.  The texture was also quite different from a traditional pancake becaues of the yogurt.  It was softer, and not chewy at all!  The vanilla yogurt also added a flavor that was really great!  I'm curious to try these next with a different flavor of yogurt, such as blueberry or strawberry! Leave a comment if you try a different type of yogurt, and let us know how it turned out!

Vanilla Yogurt Pancakes

1 1/2 cups flour
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
6 ounces vanilla yogurt
3/4 cup water
3 tablespoons butter, melted

1. Mix the dry ingredients together in a medium mixing bowl.

2. Beat the eggs, and add the yogurt, water, and melted butter.

3. Add the egg mixture to the dry, stirring just until combined.

4. Heat up a griddle or pan, and pour about 1/4 cup of batter per pancake.

Enjoy!
