Restaurant Style Baked Potato

Jana here with a recipe for a baked potato that is SO delicious!  I found the idea here, and was thrilled with the results!  The potatoes were soft and fluffy on the inside, with a firm skin on the outside.  These tasted like the potatoes you order from a restaurant, and would be good with a huge variety of toppings!  (taco potato with taco meat, lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream.....chili and cheese....so many options!)

Restaurant Style Baked Potato

Russet potatoes, medium to large size
olive oil
salt
toppings you desire

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Wash potatoes, and pat dry.  Poke each potato 2 or 3 times on each side with a fork.

3. Brush olive oil all over each potato, and sprinkle lightly with salt on top.

4. Place the potatoes directly on the middle oven rack. You can place a cookie sheet lined with foil on the rack below to catch anything that might drip.

5. Bake for one hour, or until potato is desired softness.

Enjoy!
