Easy, Perfectly Cooked Bacon in a Large Batch!

Becca here with my favorite way to cook one of my favorite "treat" foods, bacon!  It always comes out perfectly, doesn't splatter and make a mess, is completely 'hands off' while it's cooking, and you can easily cook a full package at a time.  If that's not a winning combination, I don't know what is!  All it takes is a couple of cooling racks on top of a rimmed baking sheet.  I use two smaller cooling racks on top of a half sheet pan and it works great!  The first time you try with your favorite kind and brand of bacon keep an eye on it so it's cooked just how you like it.  FYI, my cooking time and temperature are based on Oscar Mayer uncured, nitrate free bacon, a regular thickness bacon; thicker cuts will take a few more minutes.  Enjoy your perfectly cooked, no mess bacon!

Easy, Perfectly Cooked Bacon in a Large Batch

1 package your favorite bacon
large rimmed baking sheet
metal cooling racks to cover baking sheet

Preheat oven to 425.

Place metal cooling racks on top of baking sheet, and place bacon in a single layer perpendicular to lines on cooling rack.  Diagonal also works fine if you need a second row, as shown.

Bake in oven for 20 - 30 minutes, depending on your thickness of bacon.  Enjoy!
